I had the wonderful privilege of travelling up to Namibia to photograph Stefanie and Jacques’ wedding. I have known Stefanie since studying with her at college so this was a very special wedding for me to photograph. Just before she was about to walk down the aisle on the lawn surrounded by Namibian bushveld, a massive thunderstorm hit and it rained hard! the ceremony was moved to under the shelter of a verandah and as the preacher was talking about sunshine and shadows the sun gloriously appeared from behind the clouds and laid the foundation for the most beautiful scenery. the rain stayed away from that moment on and the rest of the wedding was filled with fun times and special moments.
