It’s always so wonderful to be flown across the country for a wedding, especially when it’s in the beautiful lush Natal Midlands for the wedding of Dhiveja Sundrum & Mark Smith.
This wedding was a gorgeous occasion where the bride and her bridesmaids where dressed in colourful sari’s for the ceremony. After a wonderful combined Christian and Hindu ceremony, the guests relaxed on a lawn overlooking the hills of the surrounding farms. Dhiveja then changed into her beautiful white dress that was previously worn when she participated in Miss World 2005, designed by JJ Schoeman.
The occasion at Woodridge Country Estate was so much fun – loads of dancing, great food and beautiful tear-jerking speeches, especially from the groom.
Thank you Dhiveja & Mark for letting us be part of your special day.

Being wedding photographers, it is always very interesting to attend different weddings. Each day is so unique to the couple and we love to chat about the food, decor and mood. Every now and then we get to witness a very special occasion where you can see the heart and character of the couple really really shine through. This was definitely the case with Lindsay and Gareth’s wedding.
Following a creative shoot at a little antique shop called Mad about Junk ,the wedding took place at a family member’s lovely home where guest informally sat on the lawn or wooden benches to witness the ceremony. Thereafter the modern jukebox and a live performance from Ann Jangle created a relaxed and fun party vibe which was exactly what Lindsay and Gareth wanted. Later we were served with gourmet pizza as everyone continued to mingle. The party continued late into the night with fire dancers lighting up the sky. A truly unique wedding!
